Versatile, adventurous, and playful, Yolanda Harper is an eclectic artist—singer, songwriter, and actress. Her PRIMARY genre is COUNTRY—classic, bluegrass, & contemporary. Yolanda also performs R&B classics, Latin (Spanish), blues, world music, and even children’s songs.

Raised in her mom’s hometown of New Boston, Texas, Yolanda heard a lot of country music growing up. Inspired by a video of Mother Maybelle Carter, she began playing autoharp and joined the Memphis Area Bluegrass Association. Yolanda is currently working on a country music recording project beginning with a song she co-wrote with Steve Cobb, Mama Said (Don’t say, “I do,” if you don’t). "Mama Said" and an uptempo cover of "I Hope You're Feeling Me (Like I'm Feeling You)" are her first country singles (available in the typical online sources for digital music). Future releases on will consist of both original and cover songs. The current project includes collaborations with musicians in Memphis and Nashville.

Most of Yolanda’s songs are about common human experiences, such as family love, romance, heartbreak, and friendship. Whatever she creates, you can count on a delightful blend of familiarity and freshness—full of warmth, smiles and love—experiences you do not want to miss!
